Not only did she remove a soffit and raise the ceiling by 10 inches allowing 39 inch cabinets to be installed, but she altered the new cabinet and appliance placement giving me more storage. The tile backsplash is a stunning composition incorporating three forms of slate tiles; that feature captures the eyes of people seeing the new kitchen for the first time."

"The 1980s bathroom was awkward, ugly and cramped. Elisabeth envisioned a room with a unified Tuscan feel. Instead of a lumpy cabinet with sink, she used a handsome Kohler pedestal basin and matching comfort height toilet. She augmented the storage by incorporating a standing pantry. 18 inch travertine tiles replaced the badly worn saultillo floor tiles; the same tiles form a shower wall to the ceiling, and the balance of the room has a wainscot of the same travertine tiles topped with a gorgeous travertine chair rail; the balance of the walls have a delicious decorative color wash enhanced with randomly placed relief stencil of palm fronds rising from the surface, subtle and inviting."
